Nana knows best
After reading My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, I felt inspired to illustrate the life of a "too smart for her own good" little girl and her rebellious grandma.
Nana is like a superhero with her heightened sense of adventure, her supernatural ability to ignore rules and always have a perfectly reasonable explanation of why she's doing it.
Mom is like a superhero too, but not like Nana. Pretty much the opposite actually. Nana is the best at getting into trouble and Mom is the best at getting her out of it.
